Tangle teezer's: why they're amazing

Whereas they are rather expensive, they are defiantly the most effective hair brushes. For someone such as me with long thick hair that reaches my elbows, knots are a common problem. I used to spend about ten minutes with a bog-standard hair brush tearing out my hair just to get the knots and tangles out. However, finally I brought a new hair brush a bright pink tangle teezer from boots for £11.99.

My cousin had got one a month before, when with her I borrowed it and, I guess you could say fell 'in love' with it. It went straight through my matted bed head hair with ease and no pain (which is a blessing). It doesn't break, pull or tug at my hair which is a clear sign it is doing a better job than my previous hair brush. The bright fun colours it is available in adds to how much I love this brush. When have you ever seen such a colourful brush?

The only negative to this brush is the teeth can be damaged easily. I have had mine two years and the teeth are severely damaged so I am going to buy a new one soon. Whenever my friends are round they always want to use this brush and I know they are very popular with many people, so I would certainly recommend tangle teezers.

Green Concealer

Simple's Green Concealer £1.99

Just a little post on green concealer. Someone recommend that i try green concealer because a green face is in trend. Not. Do you remember the colour wheels you would have in primary school red was opposite green? The idea is you have a red spot therefore you apply green to cancel out the red (clever hey?). Obviously you can't leave a green splodge on you face so you apply foundation or concealer over the top to blend.

I really liked how it covered the red a lot better than normal concealer it makes the blemish ready for a concealer to be applied afterwards. One thing that was irritating was if you applied liquid concealer or foundation it rubbed of, so it's better to apply stick concealer instead.

Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation

I brought this foundation the other week because so many people have given great reviews about it, and i was running out of my trusty Miss Sporty foundation. It is a lot more expensive than what i would normally pay i got it for £7.99 but it's normally £9.99. The shade i got it in is 51 which is the lightest available, its a tad dark but not awful. Apart from that i love it! It smells amazing? Not sure why that's important but it smells like fruit!

It blends into the skin so well, kind of like it gets absorbed by skin. It has quite a full coverage - enough for red patches around the nose, not for spots though. Not that i have oily skin but from the consistency i'm guessing it isn't going to be the best as it has a dewy finish. But... it's amazing for dry skin!! Matt foundation dries out my skin and this so dewy and moisturizing i look like i have moisturized skin (yay!!).

I think Bourjois is iconic for it's foundations more than anything else so this, for me, was a great place to start with buying Bourjois cosmetics and i will defiantly buy more.
